Supporting West End Residents Since 1961

Much of the surrounding community has seen its share of neglect, abuse, and abandonment. The Neighborhood House continues to be a principal source of support, recreation and learning for this area. The Center operates 7 days a week year-round, except on certain holidays. In recent years, it served as many as 3,000 people annually. Over one third of our clients are children and teens.

Youth Programming

We offer after school programming and a summer day camp, as well as athletic opportunities for local youth. Our youth offers also include leadership development, media skills, art education and more.

Food Services

Daily Bread Room– Distributes donations from Kroger, Panera, and farmers’ markets daily. Monday through Friday from 9am – 1pm, and by appointment.

Findlay St Cafe– Children and families have access to meals after school and throughout the summer months to meet their nutritional needs.

Emergency Assistance– Food & Household Pantry, Clothing Store, Transportation, and Shelter (funding pending) provide immediate assistance to individuals in need.

Holiday Assistance– Partnering with St. Barnabas Church and other organizations, families receive assistance at Thanksgiving and Christmas with food, gifts, and household items.
